Duties and Responsibilities
To assists PC and facilitate the process of project activities detailed planning, its recording and documentation of all related matters of CBID Project.
Ensuring record keeping at community level by community based Organizations (Disability Inclusive Community Based Organizations) themselves through spending 10 days a month in different villages, rest of the time spend in office for reporting and documentation. At least 02 nights stays a month are necessary in target villages in order to generate detailed information and case studies.
Preparation of monthly narrative reports (describing achievements against work plan, case studies, lessons learnt, best practices, what done innovative) and timely submission before 2nd day of each month.
Ensure recording and documentation of Disability Inclusive Community Based Organizations, Disabled Persons Organizations (DPOs), village and UC level DRR plans, HRVCAs through PRA Tools /exercises, Social maps, complaint handling record and others at field and office level.
Documentation of all CBID work, minutes, coordination meetings and submission on daily basis, and updating files regularly.
To design, developing and arrange training workshops to enhance the capacities of communities towards Disability Inclusive Development, DRR and sustainable livelihoods (SL).
To carry out Training Need Assessments (TNA), update selected training handouts, reading materials and workbook using reference materials and relevant case studies.
To Coordinate with Project Coordinator for preparation of detailed work plan for training activities, follow-up actions and submitting timely, accurate reports of the events.
To ensure the quality of events arrangements through appropriate trainer’s selection and training delivery.
To facilitate different sessions for organization staff and communities to enhance all relevant skills by engaging experts and relevant skilled persons.
Ensuring and reporting the active participation of persons with disabilities, poorest women and marginalized groups keeping loop with field staff.
Integrating the component of CB with others projects (if any) within same vicinity in order to ensure the integrity for Disability Inclusive Development, disaster risk reduction (DRR) and sustainable livelihoods.
Responsible to monitor the budget consumption regularly in CB line and manage the training’s qualitatively but with optimal utilization of available budget/resources.
To ensure project’s CB component should promote fairer balance of power between gender, class, and cost at household, local and national levels.
Field visits (night stays) to identify relevant training’s contents, follow ups of impacts of training’s, and it’s reporting with future key/workable suggestions.
Required Experience, Skill and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 02 years (Inclusive development) relevant experience in well reputed organization.
Knowledge: Computer Literate – well known about different related IT programs, Knowledge of Human rights, disability inclusive development approaches, DRR and sustainable livelihood, Advocacy/Training skills.
Skill: Good interpersonal and communication skill, team player.
Abilities: Ability to meet deadlines, ability to resolve conflict among locals.
Personal Qualities: Flexible, honesty, pro-activeness, team player, self-motivated, gender Sensitive.
